Press Release - Linamar Selects Stature from IHS for Total Quality ManagementToronto – March 7, 2011 – IHS today announced that it has been selected by Linamar, (TSX: LNR), to provide risk management software solutions to support its mission of Total Quality Management (TQM) and complete customer satisfaction. The execution of this global quality initiative will be based on IHS Stature software, allowing Linamar to standardize its risk management processes and to identify design and manufacturing risks early in the product lifecycle. At Stature’s core is the ability to capture best practices and share lessons learned among all stakeholders and this will be a key factor in Linamar’s success. The Stature platform is available in Australia and New Zealand via EnVizTec’s partner agreement with IHS Inc., the market leader in Operational Risk Management and Quality Risk Management solutions. As a diversified global manufacturer of highly engineered products, the ever-increasing needs of customers for higher levels of quality require ever more robust and integrated tools. To meet these more demanding requirements of today’s customers the tools used must be highly flexible and usable across the enterprise.
